The first few months of the year have been extremely busy for Mantra. We have played an active role in our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, while our expert teams have supported numerous Clients looking to identify partner companies in Nigeria through enhanced background checks, private investigations and due diligence services.

NBCC Health Walk
Our recent initiatives included sponsoring the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) Health Walk, held as part of their annual Health, Safety and Environment Week, as part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility commitment. This popular event provided an opportunity for participants to take a ‘time-out’ from their busy schedules, come together and focus on their health and wellbeing.
The morning began with a guided fitness session, allowing participants to stretch and warm up properly before undertaking the walk along a safe route around Eko Atlantic. At the completion of the Health Walk, participants were also able to receive complimentary medical checks.
We were delighted to support such an important event that promoted important health and safety benefits for all participants, that was evidently enjoyed by all. It was an honour to receive a Letter of Appreciation from the NBCC, and we very much look forward to supporting future initiatives that make such a positive impact on our local community.
Mantra Launches Private Investigations and Due Diligence Services for International Clients in Nigeria
International trade with Nigeria continues to experience strong growth. For example, total trade in goods and services between the UK and Nigeria was £8.0 billion in the four quarters to the end of Q2 2025 representing an 11.1% increase compared with the previous year.
As a result of this growth, and in line with guidance from overseas governments, international businesses are looking for strong verification processes before engaging with local partners in Nigeria.
